New Version, 1.1.1.11, not working in Swaziland

Hi have installed version 1.1.1.11 on two different pc's for my clients and have had no luck getting it to work. The installation is done correctly but for some the windows service will not startup.

I resorted on one of the installations to use the older version 1.1.0.5 and this worked without a glitch.

Please Help

As discussed telephonically.

We have been discussed your query and need more information regarding the individual installations. You mentioned that the software was installed on different Windows versions.

If possible, could you please check the Windows Event logs for any error messages for the day you ran the TNG v1.1.1.11 update? Please check the logs for both Windows versions and sent a screenshot of the error.

Can you also check and confirm if TNG is costing calls? Which version of TNG is currently installed at the clients?

I downloaded the log file and upon investigation I found that the log has today's date (02-05-2013).

Unfortunately this log file does not contain the details we require for our investigation. Could you please attach the tng.log for the day you ran the update?

We have to check the log entries the software created when it was updating to v1.1.1.11. Please also check if you have an extract.log file located in C:\Program Files\Datatex\tng\update directory.

The event logs created by Windows might also have error messages - please check if you have any entries for the TNG software. NB: It must be for the day you ran the update on the PC/Server.

Dear Themba

I did install a test TNG(with buffer) version 1.1.1.11 for Swaziland using your area information.

After install, it searched for buffer and never got to the login screen. The TNG service was running. I stopped/started the TNG service, thereafter I could open the TNG login page. After entering the login details it seems to get stuck. The TNG service is still running. I also get the same log entries as yourself - referring to the exchange file. The TNG shows it is for Swaziland as the country.

We will need to discuss this further internally to give you feedback towards a solution. Please note that Monday 17 June 2013 is a public holiday in South-Africa.
