To setup Custom rates in TNG refer to forum post:

Re: Zones to use for TNG and Custom rates

To ensure your TNG has all the latest prefixes (for example 8TA), else it will cost that call at zero - please upgrade to the latest version.

For newest release of TNG version 1.1(as of 20130603) see forum post:
last TNG releases for 2012

Please try the following:

  1. Stop the TNG daemon.
  2. Navigate to '/opt/datatex/tng/rates/'
  3. Rename you custom rates file to for example .old.
  4. Navigate to '/opt/datatex/tng/rates/custombase'
  5. Copy the 'custom.so' file from the custombase folder to the 'rates' folder.
  6. Navigate to '/opt/datatex/tng/rates/'
  7. Rename the 'custom.so' file in the rates 'folder' to the same name as your custom rates file (the one you renamed).
  8. Start the TNG daemon.
  9. Do 'Test Cost Calculation' and check if the rates are now correct.

I duplicated your zero costing when using 1.1.1.11.

To fix it you need to update the custom rate file - refer to topic
after upgrade Custom rates cost at zero

Our apologies for the inconvenience.

We setup a test TNG on Windows using your regional settings.
It costed calls using the default Telkom ratebook.
When we did the all_custom.dll update and it costed the custom rate book.

We must now schedule time to log onto the TNGLive (Asterisk on COMX) and investigate why it costs the custom rate at zero after the 'custom.so' update.

We have logged in yesterday and re-did the steps sent to you.
The cost for custom ratebook is still zero.

We will have to discuss it internally.
